Sunlight Basin

Trail Descriptions

Trail Description Added by: MNorby
Trail system along old mining roads. Most obstacles are along steep hills and loose rocks. This area sees a lot of hunting and ATV use primarily. There is high grizzly bear use so use caution while in this area. There are many camping areas along the road and some have large trailer parking areas and horse corals while others are only tent suitable. Most of the hills in the higher elevation are very loose rocks and 4x4 and locking differentials would be suggested for ATVs and OHVs.
