This is a hike up Heart Mountain located between Powell and Cody, Wyoming. You need to sign in at the Nature Conservatory located at the Heart Mountain Ranch (1357 Rd 22, Powell Wy) just before the road heading to the trail head. There is a parking area with a sign displaying information regarding the hike. You will hike along a two track road for the first leg and come to another sign with more directions. The second leg goes up a single track trail through the trees to the peak of Heart Mountain. you may encounter a few steep and loose sections. At the top there is a container with a log to record your trip and read about others adventures. There is also a geocache (www.geocaching.com) along this trail. Dogs are not permitted on this trail.
